*takes a deep breath*
This is an important drawing to me. I'm considering it for Yerf application. It's not yet finished, but I put it up for feedback. I'm stuck on whether I should make the border simple or if I should make it all fancy and abstract like my prior works. *scratches head* I initially wanted to write the lyrics to Five Iron Frenzy's "Ugly Day" around teh border, but now I'm not so certain. I kind of like it the way it is.
I'm personally crazy about the trees. I love autumn!!!!
I also decided to lighten Juliana's fur color. She was just too DARK for a fennec fox, and beside that... She is the furry representation of ME and I'm very very pale! SO... introducing cream colored Juls.
...and in case you're wondering the lyrics around the border would read:
"Ugly day * the sun is shining* every cloud's got a silver lining* Ugly day* The skies are blue* Now every day is ugly without you"

Dropping in for critique. I would say that it brings out the meaning for the picture, but it might also draw away from her, i'd say print a copy of this and try it out on that before touching the orginal, its always worked for me. ^^
